Job description

This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums. I’m reaching out about a lucrative Hematology/Oncology locum tenens opportunity in West Virginia. This is a 1-year, full-time assignment starting August 1, 2025, offering $430+/hr and a supportive work environment in a growing Cancer Center.

Opportunity Highlights:

Pay Rate: $430+/hr

Start Date: 8/1/2025

Contract Length: 1 year

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM + inpatient call every 3rd week

Location: 275 Dry Hill Rd, Beckley, WV 25801

Support: RN, CMA, APP

Patient Volume: ~15 patients/day (ages 18+)

Setting: Cancer Center – Hospital-based

Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies

EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

Board Certified in Oncology

Oncology Fellowship required

WV License (or willing to obtain – temp license available)

Clean background – no malpractice or disciplinary history

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: 3–5 years preferred

DEA required

🕐 Credentialing Timeframe: 45–60 days
✅ Willing to license providers with a clean background and no significant work gaps
