About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care, managing both scheduled clinic patients and hospital consultations throughout the day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating ongoing care with the multidisciplinary team. The position involves 1:4 call coverage for weeknight and weekend responsibilities, requiring availability for urgent consultations and patient management. The clinician will work collaboratively with 2 permanent physicians, 2 locum physicians, 4 advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation through EPIC EMR system.
