Job Title: Locum Physician Pediatrics - Hematology/Oncology
Location: Marshfield, WI
EMR: Cerner
Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
Board Status: Certified and Eligible

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide compassionate, evidence-based medical care to pediatric patients with hematological and oncological disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Diagnosis and Treatment: Accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans for a wide range of pediatric hematological and oncological conditions.
Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists, to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Medical Records: Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records (EMR) using the Cerner system to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Education: Provide education and support to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding treatment options, disease management, and potential side effects.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices to ensure the highest level of patient safety and care quality.
Board Certification: Maintain board certification and eligibility in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology.
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Cerner.
