Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Internal Medicine with expertise in Transplant Hepatology to join our healthcare team in Seattle, WA. As a Locum Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in scheduled clinical hours as well as providing on-call coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with complex medical conditions related to Transplant Hepatology.
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, evaluations, and provide treatment plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
Manage inpatient and outpatient cases effectively, ensuring continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the Epic EMR system.
Participate in scheduled clinical hours as per the established schedule.
Provide on-call coverage as required to address urgent medical needs.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in Transplant Hepatology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Washington.
Current DEA registration.
Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Proficiency in utilizing the Epic EMR system is preferred but not mandatory.
