Job Title: Locum Physician – Hospitalist

Practice Setting: Inpatient
Board Status: Certified ad Eligible
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Patients Per Shift: 15 – 20
Key Responsibilities:
Inpatient Care: Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the hospital, ensuring high-quality treatment and adherence to established protocols.
Patient Load: Manage a patient caseload of 15 - 20 individuals per shift, maintaining a focus on individualized care and efficient clinical practice.
EMR Utilization: Proficiently navigate and document patient information using Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Scheduled Clinical Hours: Adhere to scheduled clinical hours, providing consistent and reliable coverage as outlined in the assignment.
Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Board Certification: Maintain current board certification and eligibility, staying abreast of advancements in the field to deliver evidence-based care.
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or a related field.
Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Idaho.
Proven experience in inpatient care and hospitalist medicine.
Proficiency in using Epic EMR system.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
