Hospitalist (Nocturnist) needed in Owatonna, MN

Job description

Location: Owatonna, MN
Specialty: Hospitalist MD
Start Date: June 5th for 2 months of coverage
Contract Length: 2 months
Shift Details: Night shifts – 7p-7a
Schedule: 12-hour shifts – 7on/7off
Work Details:
· Patients per day: approx. 10 ppd, and 2-3 SCU
· Patient population/age: aging population with morbidities
· Department description: Small Rural Hospital - They won’t need to round on the patients at night- only do cross cover, admits, and emergency responses.
· Special procedures: Will need to be able to respond to codes- ACLS required. No specific procedures beyond normal medicine internist.
· Skills required: Will need a high functioning provider. Solo site at night.

Requirements:
· Board Certification: required
· MN State license required
· DEA: required
· Certifications required: ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
