A facility that is part of a well-known health system is seeking a hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located an hour outside Tupelo, MS.
About the clinician's workday
The schedule is 12-hour day shift with 12-hour night call. Procedures are not required, but preferred. Board certification in IM/FP is required. Must be clean and clear to qualify for temporary privileges. The client is looking for 1-2 weeks of coverage for the foreseeable future.

- Case load/PPD: 25-30
- Support staff: 2 APPs during day, 1 at night. Anesthesia and ER support
- Patient population: Adults
- Location type: On-Site
- Prescriptive authority required: Yes
- Shift time(s): 12 hour shift, night call
- Procedures required: Vent management required. Procedures not required because ED and anesthesia perform.
- Certifications required: ALS, BLS
