Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist
Location: Nacogdoches, TX
EMR: Cerner
Trauma Designation: Level IV
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care and treatment to hospitalized patients in a Level IV trauma designated facility. Conduct thorough medical evaluations, create treatment plans, and coordinate ongoing patient care.
Medical Records: Utilize the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters, treatment plans, progress notes, and other medical information accurately and in a timely manner.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, coordinating with the appropriate teams to stabilize and manage critically ill patients.
Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with necessary information about diagnoses, treatment plans, and potential outcomes.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
Proven experience as a Hospitalist or relevant experience in inpatient care.
Proficiency in using Cerner or similar EMR systems.

This position is for a locum tenens provider, and the duration will be determined based on the needs of the hospital. Interested candidates must be available for a temporary assignment in Nacogdoches, TX.
