Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed in Southeast Texas!

Job description

•Need help at 3 facilities
•ABEM (Board Certified: Emergency Medicine), IM or FM with ER experience (at least 1 year of established ER experience)
•Certs: BLS, DEA, ATLS, ACLS and PALS
•Procedures: Vent Management, Intubations, Central Lines
•Block shifts of 7 ON, 7 OFF or 7-10 day block shifts
oWilling to work around provider's schedule if not able to do blocks of 7
•Start: October ASAP ongoing
•Support Structure: Site MD, 2 APP/Midlevel’s (NP’s or PA’s), Collaborating EM Docs
•Physicians need to be looking to pick up at least 8-12 shifts/month
•Physicians need to know that these facilities are a No Wave ER meaning that registration will take brief information of patient, then slap on wristband and head straight into ER to bed or hall chairs versus traditional.


•LOCATION 1: 20,000 Volume ED, Single Doc, APP mid-level support (2 NP’s/PA’s), 12 HR Shifts of 7A-7P or 7P-7A (Days or Nights Available) Level 2 Trauma Center


•LOCATION 2: 10,000 Volume ED, Collaborating EM/APP support, 12 HR Shifts of 7A-7P or 7P-7A (Days or Nights Available), Level 3-4 Trauma Center


•LOCATION 3: 10,000 Volume ED, Collaborating EM/APP support, 12 HR Shifts or 24 HR Shifts available, Level 3-4 Trauma Center


•COMPETITIVE RATES

•Client prefers local candidates in Houston because of market, but is willing to help out and cover hotel, car rental or airfare expenses if needed
•Turnaround time for privileges is up to 72 HRS for physicians as long as communicative and have responsive references
