Job description

-Need: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for Correctional Medicine
-Locum to Perm position with opportunity to become Medical Director for Medical Unit after 3-6 months of Locum Coverage

-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
-Certifications: BLS, DEA
-Experience: 6 months-1 year at least

-Day to Day Functions: follow ups, critical care evaluations, chronic care treatment, wound care
-18+ Male Adults
-Support Staff: Collaborating Physician and 2 NP/PA’s to help with patient care
-Patient Volume: 20-25 PPD
-Procedures: Suturing, splinting and basic wound care

-Start Date: October ASAP or October 10th
-Credentialing is 2 weeks
-3-6 month assignment, then transition to perm Medical Director position
-Monday-Friday 8A to 5P

-Client will assist and cover travel and lodging expenses (Lodging, Airfare, Mileage)
-Malpractice & Tail Coverage
