Specialty: Physician – Infectious Disease
Start Date: 08/01/2025
Contract Length: 26 Weeks, with option to extend
Shift Details: Monday through Friday: 8A – 5P
Schedule:
- 09/29 – 10/03
- 10/06 – 10/10
- 11/03 – 11/07
- 11/10 – 11/14
- Pending dates for 2025
Work Details:
• Will float between Moses Cone & Wesley Long
• Support staff: APP at Moses. Solo at WL
• Amount of coverage needed per month: average 1 week per month
• Patients per day: about 20 patients per day (varies)
• Patient population/age: Adults
• Department description: Infectious Disease
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: TBD
• Skills required: Rounding at the hospital and answer infectious disease questions and consults. Evaluating and managing complex infections (e.g., sepsis, osteomyelitis, endocarditis)
Practice Setting:
• Inpatient
Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC in Infectious Disease
• State license required: Yes, State of NC (Willing to license if the provider is a good fit.)
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications preferred: N/A
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: Provider needs to Infectious Disease trained
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 Days
