Internal Medicine NP/PA needed in Waterville, Maine

Job description

- Coverage Dates: ASAP for initial 3 month assignment w/ option to extend if needed
- Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Monday – Friday, 5x8s 8a-4:30 but flexiblity with hours and administrative day is possible
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No call
- Type of Patients/Cases: 70% adults, 30% geriatrics (majority are 55 or older)
- Patients per Day/Volume: Average patients/day= 16 for NP or PA and 18 for MD/DO. Some walk-in patients are scheduled into acute patients slots, however, mostly scheduled visits. Admin day is negotiable based on practice coverage needs. See acute, chronic condition follow up, hospital follow up and annual care visits. Will help manager an already established panel of patients and may see an occasional new patient.
- Support Staff: Yes, MA, RN, and Lab Tech.

- Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks
