Job Title: Locum Physician- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
Location: Arroyo Grande, CA 93420
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
EMR: Athena
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the outpatient setting, focusing on both family medicine and internal medicine.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary.
Prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, and offer preventive care services to promote overall patient well-being.
Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the Athena EMR system, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid licensure to practice medicine in the state of California.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine.
Proven experience working in an outpatient setting, providing primary care services to a diverse patient population.
Proficiency in using the Athena EMR system or similar electronic medical record platforms.
