Atlanta Internal Medicine Primary Group Expanding
Job description
seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physicians for our internal medicine primary care practice in North Atlanta. Our privately owned practice, established in 2008, maintains a strong reputation for clinical excellence. Due to high demand from new patients wanting to join our practice, we are currently hiring for our Suwanee location and expanding to additional Metro Atlanta locations.
This opportunity is designed for physicians seeking a long-term career home where they can establish lasting patient relationships and grow professionally. You'll have the resources and support needed to build a thriving practice while maintaining the personal and professional balance you deserve in a supportive multi-provider environment.
Position Details
Practice Scope & Patient Care
We provide outpatient primary care for adult patients 18 years and older, managing common chronic illnesses and acute care with a focus on preventive medicine. Our patient population is primarily middle-aged adults, and we accept most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare. Patient appointments are scheduled at a manageable pace of approximately 2 new patients or 3 established patients per hour. We do not provide major psychiatric management or chronic pain management services. The Emory Healthcare Network manages our payer credentialing, streamlining administrative processes.
Work Schedule & Life Balance
This position offers work-life balance with flexible physician work schedules: either 4 clinical days plus 1 administrative day, or 4.5 days with a half administrative day per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekends, no hospital rounds, and light call responsibilities shared among providers. If the standard schedule options don't meet your needs, we will try to accommodate your preferences within reason.
Work Environment & Support
Our comfortable, well-appointed office provides an excellent working environment. Registered Nurses manage the entire triage process, handle prior authorizations, and coordinate care, allowing physicians to focus on patient care. The practice invests in comprehensive marketing to help build patient panels and maintain steady patient flow.
Technology & Diagnostics
We stay up-to-date with the latest technology, utilizing eClinicalWorks EMR with integrated e-prescribing, patient portal for communication of results, Dragon Medical One dictation, and Sunoh AI medical scribe technology to minimize documentation burden. Diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, DEXA scan, spirometry, EKG, and a full laboratory with phlebotomy services.
Referral Network
We maintain an extensive network of subspecialists from Emory, Northside, Piedmont, Northeast Georgia Health System, and highly regarded independent practices throughout Metro Atlanta, ensuring comprehensive subspecialty care access when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Compensation Structure
We offer a competitive base salary with additional productivity bonus based on collections per calendar year. The first-year productivity bonus will be prorated based on your start date. A sign-on bonus is provided in the first year, and relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.

Our student loan repayment assistance program helps reduce educational debt burden as part of our commitment to physician financial wellness.
Insurance Benefits
Comprehensive benefits include a health insurance allowance, dental insurance coverage, vision insurance coverage, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage fully paid by the practice.
