Location: Dyer, IN - A suburban city south of Chicago in Indiana. It is 45 minutes from downtown Chicago, an area of of almost 10 million residents. Live in the city and "reverse" commute or enjoy the benefits of a suburban location. This is a high performing, high functioning Hospitalist program with great patient outcomes. They continually maintain high levels of physician satisfaction, are well-respected and have a great culture of teamwork. Opportunity: Internal Medicine Nocturnist opening. 156 shifts a year from 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Admission volume: 8-9 per shift with swing-shift support most nights of the week. Tele-nocturnist cross-coverage program in development. Recent experience with intubation preferred, but not required. ACLS/BCLS required for Code Blue and Rapid Responses. Open ICU with easy access to specialist consultation and strong collegial support from specialists. Internal and external moonlighting permitted. H1-B visa sponsorship if needed.
