Job description

Location: Jackson Metropolitan Area. Great schools, festivals, low cost of living, friendly people and small town charm. The presence of nearby 33,000-acre Ross Barnett Reservoir, numerous parks, lakes, cultural and sports venues-including the Mississippi Braves baseball team (affiliate of the Braves organization)-ensures access to a multitude of recreational opportunities for the whole family. Facility: 134-bed acute care facility that has serviced Rankin County and surrounding areas since 1969. Hospital delivers a wide range of services and offers 24-hour emergency care. They have a level IV trauma center, 4 operating rooms, an ICCU and a wide range of specialty and surgical services. Position: 12-hour shifts onsite with a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Average patient census is 12-15/day. Open ICU. Physician will code their own encounters and procedures are available, but not required. Vent management and intubation available, not required.
