✅ Requirements
✔️ MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
✔️ Active New York State Medical License
✔️ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
✔️ Prior experience in geriatrics, nursing homes, or long-term care preferred
✔️ Proficiency in EHR systems, chronic disease management, and preventive care
✔️ Compassion, strong communication, cultural competency, and teamwork

✅ Responsibilities
✔️ Consult with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns
✔️ Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
✔️ Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and specialized medical care
✔️ Explain procedures, discuss test results, and educate patients on treatment plans
✔️ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
✔️ Provide health and wellness advice including diet, exercise, hygiene, and disease prevention
✔️ Immunize patients and maintain detailed patient records
✔️ Refer patients to specialists as necessary
✔️ Support patients receiving long-term care and prepare official health documents
✔️ Conduct research into new medications, treatments, or procedures
