FP/IM Physician Wanted in Asheville, NC!

Job description

I've got a great Community Health Center out in beautiful Asheville, NC that needs a locum physician to come help with coverage! An initial 6-month contract will give you plenty of consistent work for a while and they can start you ASAP!

5 eight hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
BC FP or IM
Primarily Adult Population so will take IM
Will see 16-20 ppd
Bread and Butter Community Health
Must be familiar seeing Diabetics, HBP, HTN
10% HIV/Transgender Population
Certifications: BLS, DEA
Insurances: Medicaid (70%), Other 30% uninsured or private insurances
Pod setup
Typically 1 MD per pod with APPs
- 1 RN Clinical Team lead
- 1.5 MAs to support each position
