• EM/FM/IM/General Surgery/Primary Care Specialty
• T&L
• No Call Requirements
• Weekend Requirements
• Minimum 4 shifts a month. Shifts avail (7a-7p, 2p-12a, 7p-7a)
• 36 Hours of APP Coverage (8a-8p, 10a-10p, 3p-3a)
• 275 Bed Hospital, 19 Bed ED
• 35,000 AVG EM Visits
• 45 Days AVG credentialing
• Residency Requirements: Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine OR completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in Family Medicine, General Surgery, General Primary Care Specialty or Internal Medicine. (If did not complete residency in EM, see experience requirements) ---- Any physician falling under the "grandfather clause" declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in ED by 1988 will NOT qualify
• Board Requirements: Board Certified by ABEOM or AOBEM, or Board eligible. If board eligible, must be certified within 5 years of completion of residency. ----- IF boarded by the American Board Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Surgery, must be certified within 5 years of residency. ---Must be ABPS.
• Experience Required for FM, GS, General Primary Care specialty or IM: If the physician did not complete a residence in EM: they must be able to demonstrate experience in an ED within the past 2 years as an ED physician, inclusive of 12 months of ACTIVE practice in an ED that has a census of at atleast 10,000 patients annually.
• Certifications Requirements:
o Board Eligible: ATLS, ACLS, PALS at all times
o Board Certified: Must continue to keep ACLS and PALS with recertification, ATLS once in a lifetime only
• CME Explanation: CME Activity from the previous 24 months. Per the MSO, all applicants who have a TN license that has been renewed and is not a new license, We will require 2 CME's related to control substance substance prescribing which is a required
