Locum - Physician - Interventional Cardiologist

Looking for Interventional Cardiology locum coverage for 1 weekend a month + an occasional 1 week at a time through July 2024!

Job Details:
One weekend a month to include Friday and Monday, will also need coverage for a week at a time due to physician schedule
Primarily STEMI call, but it would include hospital rounding as well. In addition, they would also utilize the provide in the office setting.
Patient population: 100% Adult
Average No. of office/clinic patients per physician per day: 22
Average No. of hospital patients per physician per day: 10-15
Average No. of procedures per physician per day: 2-3
4 Physicians, 3 Mid-levels in group
SUPERVISION REQUIRED; Stress Test Supervision when performed by APC in hospital
EMR: EPIC
Number of beds: 300

Required Duties/Procedures:
Outpatient & Inpatient Cardiology
Cardiac catheterization
Invasive cardiology – Interventional (Angioplasty – PTCA, Intracoronary stent placement, Atherectomy)


Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active VA license & DEA - REQUIRED
BLS & ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
Flu Vaccine - Required by time of credentialing
COVID Vaccine - Preferred
