A leading hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a 6-month locums assignment starting in January 2026. This is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced cardiac team, providing advanced interventional care while enjoying the flexibility of a locums schedule.

🩺 Work Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Call: Some nights/weekends (25% callback rate, discussed during interview)
Cases: 2–4 per day | Adults (18+)
Support Staff: Nurses, techs, APPs
Hospital Size: 550 beds
EMR: Epic
Procedures: Right/left heart caths, coronary angiograms/interventions, chronic total occlusions, high-risk PCI (Impella support), lower extremity work
Environment: Balanced caseload; not overly busy but clinically complex — ideal for physicians who excel under pressure and value collaboration
✅ Requirements
Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (fellowship required)
Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred due to complexity of cases
Licensure: Active license required; IMLC considered
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Credentialing: ~90 days
