Interventional Cardiologist needed in GA

Job description

-Up to 6 days per month, 24 hour shift, 7am to 7am
-Inpatient - Consulting and ED STEMI Call. When on ED STEMI call, the cardiologist responds to STEMI and ED Emergencies; does bedside consults at the request of hospitalist, performs CATHS if needed; Interprets ECHO and STRESS TESTS.
-Cases: diagnostic Caths and are a low risk PCI Center. Also do TEE’s; Echoes; Nuclear and Treadmill Stress Tests.
-Call volume: It varies but 10 – 12 consults; 3 Caths; STEMs are variable but we usually have around 10 STEMI’s per month
-Average number of procedures per day: 3-5 Stress Tests; 2 TEE’s; 3 - 5 Caths; 10 Echoes
-BC or BE (Must be < 5 years post fellowship)
