About the clinician's workday

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care with 24-hour call coverage managing STEMI cases, in-hospital consults, and emergency department consultations. The clinician will perform cardiac catheterizations, interpret echocardiograms, read stress tests, and monitor cardiac patients with typical onsite hours from 7 AM to 3 PM Monday through Sunday. The position requires rounding on inpatients, evaluation and treatment of cardiac conditions, and immediate response capabilities for emergency interventions. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology and Illinois licensure are required for this assignment.
