General Cardiologist needed in Tarboro, NC - Locum Tenens

Job description

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist to provide Locums Tenens coverage in Tarboro, NC.

New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.

Requirements:
Specialty: General Cardiologist
Education: MD/DO
License: North Carolina
Certifications: Board Certified - BLS & ACLS required
EMR = EPIC

Details of the Opportunity:
Inpatient & Outpatient
Established practice that includes 17 MDs/DOs and NP/PA --113 physicians day coverage support – 3 physicians night coverage
Large referral network that serves 9 counties
Cardiovascular diagnostic tests available on site
Lab and X-ray on site
Average total IP census: 38
Anticipated OP volumes per day 18-20 pt’s in clinic
Average # patients/day/provider: 6 per day
Critical Care/ICU Duties: No
Will respond to codes: No
Will serve as back-up in the Emergency Room: No

List of Required Procedures:
Nuclear Stress Test
Routine TMT
Echocardiogram
Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)
Cardioversion
Consults in hospital
Clinic appointments ( follow up and new)

Coverage Needed:
As soon as credentialed - ongoing

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Night Call 5p-8a
