Aya Locums has an immediate opening in Hanover, PA for Interventional Cardiology call coverage. This facility is a full-service Acute-Care hospital that is accredited by The Joint Commission, including being a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Shift Details: Weekday Call: Mon-Thurs | 5p-7a | Weekend Call: Fri-Mon | 5p-7a | May also need Holiday call coverage.
Schedule: This position is for an as needed call schedule. Weekend Call: Fri-Sat | 5p-7a | but will consider 6p-6a. Weekend Call: Sat-Mon | 7a-7a. Weekday Call: Mon-Tues | 5p-7a | but will consider 6p-6a. Weekday Call: Tues-Thurs | 7a-7a |
Work Details:
• Support staff: Provider will work solo. Hospitalists do the admission
• Amount of coverage needed per month: May get called in 0 - 4 times throughout a weekend. Our staff is usually called in 10 times a month on average
• Patient population/age: 100% adult
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: PCI and PE. Cardiology is not the admitting physician. Will need to cover STEMIs and Acute PE. Switchboard will notify the physician of a STEMI via phone and pager. The physician must call the switchboard to confirm he/she received the page

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board Certified
• License required: Active PA License
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum experience required: 5 years. Will consider a min of 3 years of experience
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
