Interventional Cardiologist Neded in PA

Job description

I have a client in Hanover, PA seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for locum coverage starting in July. Please see a few details below:

• 6-month assignment
• Shifts/Schedules: This position is for cath lab coverage – Mon-Fri 7a-5p,
weeknight call coverage (5p-7a); 1:4 weekend call coverage – Sat and Sun
7a-7a (no rounding). May get called in 0 - 4 times throughout a weekend. Our
staff is usually called in 10 times a month on average. The switchboard will
notify the physician of a STEMI via phone and pager. The physician must call
the switchboard to confirm he/she received the page.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 20 shifts
• Adults only
• EMR: Epic
• Travel and Malpractice covered
• Special procedures: Will need to cover STEMIs, cardiac caths, interventions
and it's preferred that the provider can perform urgent Acute Pulmonary
Emboli. PCI and PE

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• License: PA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• 3 years of experience required

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
