Job Description: Locums Physician - Interventional Cardiology

We are seeking a Locums Physician specializing in Interventional Cardiology to provide coverage for scheduled hours and call. This position requires coverage on Sunday through Thursday, two times a month. The schedule hours for the hospital are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Coverage Details:

Type of Coverage: Scheduled hours and call
Accepting Multiple Providers: Yes
Call Coverage Needed: Weekday, night, and weekend
Number of Phone Consults: Approximately 4-8 in a 24-hour period
Call Start Time: 7:00 AM
Call End Time: 7:00 AM
No medical malpractice issues
Requirements:

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology is required
Experience with patients aged 18 and above
Familiarity with inpatient settings
Proficiency in charting and EMR systems, specifically Medhost
Support Staff:

Nurses and ancillary support staff will be available to assist
Duration and Compensation:

Coverage needed in June and ongoing
Flat call rate for 24 hours, no call back rate (in the range of $4,300)
Credentialing process typically takes one week
Temporary privileges will be granted
Additional Details:

Reason for Need: Physician vacancies
Schedule to be filled: Sunday through Thursday, two times a month
Rounding Hours: Approximately 1 hour
Average Number of Admissions per Shift: 2
