Job description

Jacobi Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech) with a strong background in diagnostic imaging, angiographic equipment, and minimally invasive vascular procedures. The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified, with at least one advanced-level certification in Cardiac, Cardiovascular, or Vascular Interventional Radiography.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in interventional procedures: balloon angioplasty, vascular stenting, and image-guided diagnostics
• Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and C-arm imaging systems
• Administer contrast agents under supervision
• Ensure patient safety, sterile field setup, and real-time monitoring
• Coordinate with radiologists and support staff for optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate procedural records

Required Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of experience with angiographic equipment and interventional procedures
• CT imaging knowledge preferred

Certifications (Required):
• Valid NY Radiologic Technologist License (or willingness to obtain post-offer)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• One ARRT Advanced Certification (Required):
o ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiography
o ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
o ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiography
