PA – Interventional Radiology – Locum Tenens – Fredericksburg, VA

Job description

A Level 1 trauma hospital in the Fredericksburg, VA area is seeking a Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology for locum tenens coverage. Coverage starts ASAP and runs through August 2027.

Schedule & Setting:
• Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm or 8:30am – 5pm shifts
• Practice settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
• EMR: Epic
• Approximately 25 patients per shift
• 99 beds in department
• Level 1 trauma center; hospital is stroke certified
• No call required

Requirements:
• Board certification required (PA – Interventional Radiology)
• Active VA license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Hospital/surgery center privileges required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Holidays observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
