A well-established hospital-based practice in the Fredericksburg, VA area is seeking a Physician Assistant for an Interventional Radiology locum tenens opportunity.

Position Details:
- Specialty: Physician Assistant - Interventional Radiology
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; shifts of 7:30am-4pm or 8:30am-5pm
- Coverage Type: No call
- Practice Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Start Date: ASAP through August 2027
- EMR: Epic
- Patients per Shift: approximately 25
- Department: Interventional Radiology (99 beds)
- This is a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke-Certified facility
- Strong support staff including 9 RNs, 4 MAs, 2 PA/NPs, and 2 office staff

Requirements:
- Board certification required (Certified)
- Active Virginia license required
- ACLS and BLS required
- Hospital privileges required (no temporary privileges)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
- Malpractice insurance provided by vendor

Reason for coverage: Replacing an approved traveler.
