PA Interventional Radiology – Locum Tenens – Fredericksburg, VA

Job description

A Level I trauma hospital in the Fredericksburg, VA area is seeking a Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Interventional Radiology.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm or 8:30am–5pm. No call required.

Work Details: Both inpatient and outpatient coverage. Approximately 25 patients per shift across a 99-bed department. Admissions required. Rounding on both inpatient and outpatient patients. EMR: Epic. Hospital is stroke-certified and a Level I trauma facility.

Requirements: Board certification as Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology required. VA license required at the time of bid (no licensing reimbursement). ACLS and BLS required. Approximate credentialing timeframe: 90 days. Coverage need is long-term, with an end date in 2027.

Setting: Strong support staff in place, including RNs, MAs, additional NPs/PAs, and office staff.
