Interventional Radiologist – Augusta, GA | Flexible Schedule | IMLC Accepted | High‑Procedure Role
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Schedule: Full‑time preferred (Mon–Fri), or minimum 2 weeks per month
Licensing: GA license or IMLC
Start: Credentialing ~120 days
Call: Weekday call 5PM–8AM
Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car or mileage covered

A major Augusta hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide dedicated IR coverage. This is a procedural‑only position—no diagnostic reads outside of images tied to your procedures. If you enjoy hands‑on IR work with independence and a predictable weekday schedule, this is an excellent fit.
Position Highlights
Flexible commitment: Full‑time Mon–Fri or minimum 2 weeks/month
Autonomous practice: No other physicians or APPs on shift; no APP support
Consistent daytime hours: 8AM–5PM
Weekday call: 5PM–8AM
Hospital‑based IR service
Procedures You’ll Perform
A broad IR mix, including but not limited to:
Abscess drainage catheter placement, abscessogram & tube changes
Adrenal venography
Angiography & embolization (massive hemoptysis, upper/lower GI bleeding)
Anterograde nephrostogram
Arthrography & arthrocentesis
Catheter stripping
CT & fluoroscopy‑guided procedures
Fistulograms/sinograms
Lymphangiography
Paracentesis
Percutaneous gastrostomy
Transjugular liver biopsies
Ultrasound‑guided procedures
Requirements
Board Certified Radiologist with Interventional Radiology Certification
GA license or IMLC (willing to license only via IMLC)
Active DEA
Ability to work independently in a busy hospital environment
