Interventional Radiologist - Full Time preferred

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Georgia. This is a procedural-only IR position in a hospital setting with no diagnostic read responsibilities outside of procedure-related imaging.

Assignment Details
Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Coverage Type: Full-Time (Will consider two weeks a month)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Weeknight call coverage from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Procedures Include
Abscess drainage catheter placement
Abscessogram and tube changes
Adrenal venography
Angiography and embolization for:
Massive hemoptysis
Lower GI bleeding
Upper GI bleeding
Anterograde nephrostogram
Arthrography
Arthrocentesis
Catheter stripping
CT-guided procedures
Fluoroscopy-guided procedures
Fistulograms/Sinograms
Lymphangiography
Paracentesis
Percutaneous gastrostomy procedures
Transjugular liver biopsies
Ultrasound-guided procedures

Requirements
Interventional Radiology Certification – Required
Active Georgia License – Preferred
Will consider providers eligible through IMLC
DEA – Required
