Interventional Radiology Locum Tenens – Urgent Need - ASAP start

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage in ID. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting with a strong procedural mix and manageable call-back volumes.

Coverage Dates Needed:

March 15 – March 22

March 22 – March 29

March 29 – April 5

April 12 – April 19

Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Evening Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

0–1 call backs per weekday evening

2–3 hours per intervention

Daily rate inclusive of evening call

Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call)

3–4 interventions over the weekend

1–3 hours per intervention

Required Procedures:

Trauma embolization (body)

Pulmonary thrombectomy

Gastric tube placement

Biliary / chole tube placement

Nephrostomy & ureteral stenting

Dialysis graft / fistula stenting

Body arteriography

IVC filter placement & removal

Ideal Skillset (Preferred Experience):

Cryoablation & thermal ablation

TIPS

Venous & arterial stenting

Extremity thrombectomy & limb salvage

Prostate & uterine artery embolization

Gonadal vein embolization

Uterine fibroid embolization

Y90 & chemoembolization

Pseudoaneurysm treatment

Vertebral body biopsy

Requirements:

Active Idaho license or IMLC (required in hand)

Clean background (required for emergency privileges)

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology

DEA required
