Fantastic Long Term Assignment for an Interventional Radiologist in Maryland

Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Start Date: June 2nd
Location: Near Washington DC
Contract Length: ongoing until a perm is hired – client is thinking they will need about 1 year of coverage
Shift Details: 8-hour shifts plus call rotation
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm plus call coverage weeknight and weekends

Work Details:
· Support staff: other IR docs
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time coverage - will piece together the need with multiple providers but need a minimum of 1 week per month from each.
· Patient population/age: all ages
· Department description: Services for 2 acute care hospitals and an outpatient center.
· Special procedures: Bread and butter IR procedures
· Skills required: This position requires competence in diagnostic imaging studies including MR, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, with up to 25% diagnostic imaging built into the workflow only if not busy with IR procedures.

Average Call - when working a day shift, Doctor will also take call that night and the following weekend. They usually get called in once or twice through the week, and maybe once on the weekend.
