Job description
IR Radiologist (with Diagnostics expected)
Full-time: Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm)
NEED at least 1 week per month, 6 month contract with option to extend!
IMLC Accepter - MUST HAVE LOQ in hand
Modalities:
* Required: general CT, General MRI, general Xray, IR and Fluoro coverage
* Physician will be reading from the general worklist when not performing procedures or fluoro
Case Mix/Volume:
1. Variable mix of cases depending on rotation, but mostly need inpatients, outpatients (and sometimes help on STAT list)
i. Workflow is generally reading old-to-new for each section (inpatients, outpatients, stats) to prevent cherry picking.
2. Volume depends on modality but with general mix: 50 to 70/day with aim of ~50% cross sectional (if not doing procedures)
3. If doing procedures (see below), radiologist is expected to read cases in between procedures to the best of their ability.
Procedures:
1. basic CT/US-guided procedures like abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA, lumbar punctures, myelograms, paras thoras, neph tube exchanges and placement, suprapubic catheter placements, lung liver and kidney biopsies, PICC port and dialysis catheter placements
2. All fluoroscopy exams
3. Prefer MORE IR with general diagnostics expected. Approximately 12 procedures a week and 10 fluoro cases
System - PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360) and EMR (EPIC).
IMLC Accepted **LOQ MUST BE IN HAND,
