A large hospital is seeking a Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday
This position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekend call required and weekday call optional. The radiologist will spend 2-3 hours performing interventional radiology procedures, then focus on reading emergency department studies at a busy Level II trauma center with a high volume of ER cases.
Additional job details
- Case load/PPD: 80 studies plus the small procedure, which usually takes up 2-3 hours per day
- Support staff: NPs doing paras and Thoras
- Patient population: Adults
- Call ratio/schedule: Weekend 24 hour call, open to week call
- Location type: On-Site
- Procedures: GI stuff, trauma embolization, LIR, Biopsies
- Equipment/PACS system: Change Healthcare
- Modalities: PF, US, MRI, and CT
