Breast Medical Oncology PA & NP Needed in CA

Job description

I have a client in San Franciso seeking an experienced Breast Medical Oncology PA or NP for locum coverage starting in October. Here are some details:

• 6-month assignment
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 10-hour shifts per week
• Patients per day: 10 patients
• Patient population/age: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size:
• Skills required: Exp working with clinical trial patients. Experience working in an academic med center. Experience working in an outpatient medical oncology

Practice Setting:
• Hospital
• Outpatient

Requirements:
• State license required: Yes, State of CA
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• PA requirements: must have Masters in Medical Science or Masters in PA Studies
• NP Requirements: must have one of the following: AGNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
• Minimum experience required: REQUIRED: 1 year of recent experience in medical oncology.. PREFERRED: 3-4 years in med onc. Preferably breast med onc and/or solid tumor.

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
