Locums Oncology APP – Outpatient Infusion/Hospital-Based in San Francisco, CA

Job description

Schedule: Full-time; 5x8s or 4x10s; some weekends and holidays required

Position Details
Setting: Outpatient infusion + hospital-based consult work
Support Staff: APPs, RNs, some MAs
Visits: 8–10 patients/day
Population: Adults
Model: Highly autonomous; consult-style; independent visits

Responsibilities:
Manage oncology patients from diagnosis through treatment
Handle adverse reactions, transfers, and direct admissions
Work closely with inpatient services
Procedures: None required; line removal preferred
EMR: EPIC

Required Skills
2–3 years oncology experience (specific disease group management)
Infusion experience preferred
Must have inpatient or high-acuity oncology exposure (not considering outpatient-only)
BMT or hematology experience accepted
Certs: OCN/AOCNP preferred
Credentialing: Timeline: ~60 days
