Pathologist Needed in Ohio | $200+/hr | Onsite | 3-Month Assignment

Job description

Assignment Details:

Location: Chillicothe, OH

Start Date: June 23, 2025

Duration: ~3 months (covering maternity leave)

Pay Rate: $200+/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Call: 1 week/month (clinical only; no in-hospital response required)

Work Description:

Focus on Cytology, Head & Neck cases (more details to come)

13,000–15,000 cases annually

FNA adequacies and frozen sections required

3 hospitals send cases to Chillicothe for processing

Must be onsite (2 pathologists typically on: 1 onsite, 1 remote)

Patient Population: Age 18+ with some peds specimens (e.g., tonsillectomies)

EMR: Epic

Support Staff:

Anatomic Pathology Technologist onsite

Pathologist Assistant

Lab techs for specimen processing

Requirements:

Must be AP/CP Board Certified (no Board Eligible accepted)

Active OH license required

Minimum 3 years’ experience

Comfortable with Non-GYN Cytology (board verification preferred, not required)

No DEA or CSR required

Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days (next committee meets June 19)
