Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to join our team at [Hospital Name] in Colorado. The ideal candidate must possess an active Colorado nursing license, be board-certified, and hold NRP certification. The NNPs will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to newborns, participating in high-risk deliveries, performing various procedures, and contributing to our neonatal care unit's exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the neonatal care team to provide comprehensive medical care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Participate in rounds at all three hospital sites, including Littleton, Parker, and Castle Rock, providing expertise and guidance on neonatal cases.
Provide in-house coverage on a 24/7 basis, with one NNP per hospital site.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic and PremiHR systems.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Board-certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Demonstrated proficiency in intubations, arterial lines, central lines, and umbilical lines, with a minimum of six documented procedures in each category.
Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically Epic and PremiHR.
Schedule:
Round at all three hospital sites daily, starting at Littleton, then Parker, and finally Castle Rock.
Participate in on-call shifts during nights.
Additional Information:

Credentialing process expected to take approximately 60 days.
The hospital has a C-Section rate of 30%.
EMR systems in use: Epic and PremiHR.
