Neonatal Nurse practitioner needed in Nebraska
Job description
**The job is based in Nebraska, with the city’s airport being the largest in the state and classified as a medium-hub airport. There are nonstop flights from several major states, including Texas, Arizona, Colorado, California, and Missouri. I listed those states specifically since the facility is open to licensing candidates, and travel from those areas may be more convenient. Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6-12 months,
Shift Details: 7p-7a, or rotating schedule
Practice Setting:
• Hospital- Trauma Level II
Caseload: 8-12 on days, 14-20 on nights.
This is a busy unit with critically complex patients. The census has increased in 2 years from an average daily census of 32.7 to 40.3.
Must have previous Level IV NICU experience
• Board Certification: NNP-BC)
• License Required: Active NE license. Client WILL license!
• Certifications Required: PALS, NRP NRP required upon hire, and it is the candidate's responsibility to maintain
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days, emergency privileges re rarely approved. Paperwork (once turned in) can take up to two months, so this is critical to get turned in. Provider must be good with paperwork and turnaround time. Need proof of privileged procedures.
