Neonatal NP – 12hr Shifts – Central Valley – California

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days and nights). 12–14 shifts per month preferred, but part-time considered at ~50% coverage. Days and nights available. Candidates who can do both are preferred.
Start date: as soon as credentials are issued
Contract length: Ongoing
Patient population: Neonatal ICU – Level III required, Level IV preferred
Practice setting: 3 hospitals within 15–20 mins of each other. Majority of shifts at a Level III NICU site.
Skills required: Independent management of high-acuity neonatal cases; must be able to perform procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, UA/UV lines, and resuscitations
Experience required: Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience. Level IV experience preferred.
Supervision: Independent
Certifications required: NNP certification, BLS, NRP
License: Willing to license, but preference given to CA-licensed candidates
Interview process: Phone interview with NICU Director; quick offers expected
Name clear required: Yes – name and NPI required for submission
Credentialing: ~60 days; temporary privileges available
