🏥 Job Opportunity: Experienced Level IV NP – California Licensed

Job description

Schedule & Requirements:
Active California NP license required
2–3 years of Level IV NICU experience
Master’s degree required
Must be flexible to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Minimum of 4–6 shifts per month

Shift Details:
Weeknights: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (15-hour shift)
Weekend Nights & Holiday Nights: 3:00 PM – 8:00 AM (17-hour shift)
Weekdays: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shift)
Weekend Days & Holiday Days: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shift)
Overtime: Paid after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly
Double Time: Paid after 12 hours daily

Travel candidates accepted

Required Certifications:
BLS
NRP
PALS

Clinical Experience Required:
Surgical recovery (including newborns)
Chest tube insertion/removal
Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen
Lumbar puncture
Needle aspiration of pneumothorax
Percutaneous insertion of central venous catheter
Percutaneous radial artery catheterization
Umbilical vessel catheterization

Credentialing & Onboarding:
Credentialing timeline: 90–120 days
Orientation: 3 days (Monday–Wednesday) once privileges are active
