Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Needed in Hollywood, FL

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is within a large Level IV NICU, with the care team also covering additional hospitals within the same healthcare system. The ideal candidate must be comfortable stepping into a very high-acuity environment and working collaboratively within a highly skilled neonatal care team.
SCHEDULE & COVERAGE EXPECTATIONS
- Hours vary week to week, with shifts rotating between 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
- Additional coverage required for one 24-hour shift plus one 16-hour shift per week
- No block scheduling
- Full-time coverage only
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling needs
UNIT & ROTATION STRUCTURE
- Full-time NNPs rotate across three hospitals within the healthcare system
- All facilities are located within 20–30 minutes driving distance
- Two Level III NICUs operate on 24-hour shifts
- Level IV NICU operates:
- 10- or 12-hour day shifts
- 12- or 16-hour night shifts
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- NNP Board Certified – REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2+ years of current experience as an NNP – REQUIRED

- Master’s Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing – REQUIRED
- NNP Board Certification – REQUIRED
- Active Florida license or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report
- Must be within 30 days and active
Required at presentation
- Minimum of 2+ years of employment experience as an NNP – REQUIRED
- DEA license
- Must be obtained prior to start
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE SUMMARY
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- State License: Florida
- Education: Minimum Master’s Degree in Nursing and/or DNP
- Experience: Current 2+ years as an NNP (excluding RN experience)
