New Opportunity Located in East Central VA with Aya Locums: Neonatal NP

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for an opportunity in east-central Virginia. This role supports a Level IV NICU with full-time coverage needs and both day and night shift options.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Shift Options: 10-hour day shifts or 15-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Call: None

Work Details
• Support Staff: Full Level IV NICU team
• Census: 7–8 patients/day
• Patient Population: Neonates across a wide gestational and diagnostic range
• EMR: EPIC (experience preferred; training available)
• Special Procedures: Umbilical vein & artery catheterization, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, endotracheal intubation
• Skills Required: Minimum 2 years recent Level IV NICU experience, L&D delivery experience, newborn nursery consults, no prenatal consults

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: Required (IMLC accepted)
• DEA: Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, Neonatal NP certification
