New Opportunity Located in East Central VA with Aya Locums: Neonatal NP

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a full-time assignment at an academic hospital in East Central Virginia, starting as soon as credentialed.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing)
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: Rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Shift Options: 10-hour day shifts or 15-hour night shifts
• Call: None

Work Details:
• Patients per day: 7-8
• Department description: Level IV - Manage and care for infants with a wide range of gestational ages and diagnoses.
• EMR: EPIC (will train if needed but prefer they have experience)
• Special procedures: Umbilical vein and artery catheterization, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, endotracheal intubation
• Skills required: Must have at least two years of recent Level IV experience. Must have L&D delivery experience. Newborn nursery consults needed. No prenatal consults needed.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required unless IMLC
• DEA: required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP – Neonatal NP certification required
