Locum Neonatology Opportunity in Maryland – $120+/hr, July–August 2025

Job description

Assignment Details:

Dates: July 1 – August 31, 2025 (with potential to extend)

Locations: Two Level III NICUs

Shift Coverage: 20–30 shifts per month across both sites

Census: 22–24 patients

Staffing: 2 Neonatologists during the day, 1 at night

EMR: Cerner

Annual Deliveries: Approximately 3,500

Procedures: Includes nitric oxide therapy, high-frequency ventilation, and simple surgeries (e.g., hernia repairs)

Call: None
LocumTenens

Compensation & Benefits:

Rate: $120+/hour

Travel & Lodging: Covered

Malpractice Insurance: Provided

Requirements:

Board Certification in Neonatology

Active Maryland license or IMLC eligibility

NRP certification

Proficiency in intubations, umbilical line placements, etc.

Recent Level III NICU experience (within the last 3 years)
