Peds Neonatology Physician needed in TX!

Job description

-Level 4 NICU
-There will be an NP onsite during the day for support and then there is an NP on call at night.
-Preferred 5 years of experience for the provider.
CV surgery cases are referred out for intervention
-REQUIRED:
-Active TX License and DEA
-Board Certification
-NRP
-Coverage Type: Call Only
-Schedule: minimum of 7 shifts a month of coverage.
-Work Details:
· Support staff: PA/NP: 2
· Patients per shift: 38
· Trauma Level: 2
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: Nursery Level II/NICU, Ventilation Mangement (Invasive (ETT), Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP), Use of nitric Oxcide (iNO)), Chest tube insertion, Exchange transfusions, Eval & Mangement of acute volume/BP issues, Diagnostic/Thereapeutic taps (including those below) (Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis)
-Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Requirements:
· Board Certification: Certified
· License required: Licensed in TX
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications required: NRP
-Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

• Medical malpractice insurance provided
• Active TX License
