JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coverage:
Nephrology
Dates: ASAP
URGENT need for Nephrology locum coverage due to an unexpected emergency.
MI licensed only due to emergent need.
Coverage Type:
• 7 days of hospital service
• 2 weeks of clinic.
• Athena EMR
• Clinic is 8 to 5
• No admits, hospitalist do that
• There can be a week off in between if not available for 3 weeks concurrent.
• Call is consultative ONLY.
• When on hospital service 14-16 patients per day.
• Clinic is 12-14 patients per day.
The nephrology service is consultative only and does not admit primarily. Rounds are from 8 am to 5 pm with hospitalists taking first call after 5 pm with nephrologist available for backup.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES:
• ACLS
• ABLS
• ATLS
• Board Certificate
• BLS
• PALS

STATE LICENSE REQUIRED:
• Michigan
